COLLGEL bio-ink product introduction

COLLGEL bioink

Type I collagen powder injection form of animal origin, 0.6 g/does

The raw material is extracted from porcine tendon type I collagen, the most significant collagen existing in the ECM, high in content and rich in collagen. It is more than 90% similar to human amino acid sequence, often applied in medical and tissue engineering, and is of weak antigenicity.

Since Collagen exists in human body and through processed collagen biopsy or collagen processed viable tissue, it can be easily composed as part of the body.
Our product is supplied with a powder in-syringe with 0.6 g per shot, and it can be freely formulated with ink concentration level and even post-processing approaches.

With COLLGEL bioink printing, COLLGEL can directly mix with pH neutral solutions and you may also choose acidic solution to accelerate collagen swelling efficiency. While the 3D environment allows cell elongation, it collaborates and integrates with the cell surface to further activate specific cell functions. If you use cell co-culture bioinks, please prepare ink types before compounding with cells with the recommended ink concentration level below 5%. If the bioink concentration level correlates with mechanical strength for direct  bioprinting, we recommend the ink concentration level above 6%.

COLLGEL can meet the requirements of 3D bioink is bioactive, so it is prepared with printability, machine adjustability, and excellent cell compatibility.

Chemotaxis

Collagen bio-ink is , which allows cell growth and adhesion.

Easy to handle

Powder in-syringes are easy to handle and it can directly compound with pH neutral solutions to accelerate collagen swelling efficiency via acidic solutions.

Printability

Targeted 3D bio-ink application is optimized: fluidity under low temperature and fast gelation under 37℃.

Unnamed-6-12.png

Adaptable to multiple application

The application can be adjusted based on the concentration level, from low concentration hydrogel cell compound or drug release to high concentration 3D bioprinting.

Convenient with preservation and transport

It can be preserved at room temperature, without cold storage, which is advantageous to transport.

COLLGEL viscoelasticity is adjustable and highly printable, so it can optimize its bioink features to meet user needs. Bioinks can also fulfill printing resolution even with different extrusion pressure, it still provides even ink to prevent needle clogging. Gelatinized collagen bioinks possess sufficient mechanical strength to support subsequent cell culture.
